I was born and raised in Putnam County, but we lived in Germany for 6 years until recently. Ice cream culture in Europe is strong (see pictures), but it has nothing on Lazy Cow! Moving back last year, Lazy Cow helped us forget all about the others. Lazy Cow uses real ingredients to make their ice cream and regularly solicits customer feedback to continue to provide a great variety of flavors that are all amazing. The shop itself is incredibly functional and well thought out... they even have sinks in the seating area to wash off sticky hands. We stop by regularly.

We stopped in to Lazy Cow Creamery while in Cookeville running errands and we will be back to try more of these delicious flavors very soon! Loved the generous portions sizes, different homemade flavors, and very clean/comfortable restaurant!

Big selection of flavors you don't see in most ice cream shops. We had sweet cream, cherry chocolate, and a scoop with honey in it, also one with honey comb, teddy grahams with a sweet cream vase. Didn't get all the names but will for sure be back! Fresh, creamy and all natural flavors! Great service and clean store! Don't miss out!

My family and I went for our first time and we were all blown away by the friendly staff and absolutely thrilled with our experience I got a large chocolate shake and a half hotty sandwich the chocolate shake was extremely smooth and blended exactly how you would want it, as far as their deli I finished my entire sandwich and it was so delicious. I actually had to go back and get another sandwich. My wife is a picky eater and was super happy with the cookie dough ice cream and their usual sandwich. I would highly recommend this place to all my friends and family.
