Legendary Maple & Ice Cream is one of those places that completely exceeds expectations. Sitting right next to a gas station, it's probably not where you'd expect to find some of the best soft serve around, but that's exactly what makes it such a hidden gem. The soft serve is incredibly creamy, smooth, and packed with flavor. The maple flavor is a must-try if you're visiting Vermont, and they have plenty of other options as well. The portions are generous, the prices are very reasonable, and whether you get your ice cream in a cone or a cup, you definitely get your money's worth. I personally load my cone with rainbow sprinkles, which makes an already great ice cream even better. Another thing I love is that they're dog-friendly and even offer dog ice cream, which is such a fun touch for anyone traveling with their pup. Overall, this is a great stop if you're craving ice cream. Friendly atmosphere, big portions, reasonable prices, and delicious soft serve. Definitely worth pulling over for.

The service was great 😁, the ice cream however, was gross, in all my years I’ve never had such bad quality of ice cream to where plastic tasted better. Also, what ice cream place does not have chocolate chip ice cream. My dad said if it was between this place, and the one he went to in Tennessee, he’d drive the two days to Tennessee.

We LOVED the CREEEMEE! Our whole group got CREEMEE’D! We were a bit hesistant to go all in on the creemee because someone in our group was creemee intolerant, but she was able to get a non-dairy creemee so she even got CREEMEE’D!!! I just can’t begin to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the staff and their wonderful ability to CREEMEE so many people so quickly. We couldn’t guzzle down our CREEMEE fast enough!!

Heard about this place from friends and social media. Came to visit from California and had to make a stop here to give it a shot. Absolutely amazing flavor and service! Wish I could’ve been able to bring some back home with me.
