    Disappointing. I expected in this wonderful little town of Spearfish to have a really cool ice cream shop with lots of different/unique flavors but this missed the mark. We walked in to see only 8 flavors on the board. Very basic like chocolate, vanilla, maple walnut, strawberry etc. I tried the most unique one some berry flavor (can't recall... maybe elderberry) and it did not jump out with any great flavor and was not very sweet. My wife who is a big vanilla fan said (without me prompting her) that her vanilla cone was nothing great. Nice that they have a special little spot there on the main strip but really are missing the mark for being truly unique and special.

    Friendly service and great ice cream. Google maps took me to the back of the store instead of the front though making it harder to find.

    As someone with celiac disease and lactose intolerance, it can be really difficult to find an ice cream shop that offers safe options for both. I was so excited to find out they had gluten-free waffle cones and a vegan Banana Crème ice cream flavor! What impressed me most was how seriously they took allergies. They asked if I had an allergy and then took the ice cream to the back to scoop it separately to avoid cross-contamination, which made me feel very safe and cared for. Everything was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was beautiful as well. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone with dietary restrictions!

    Best ice cream I’ve ever had! I’m normally not a big ice cream person, but Leone’s keeps luring me back with its constant variety of interesting flavors. So smooth and creamy, and always delicious!
