If you are visiting Falls Church or finishing up a meal nearby at Dogwood Tavern, you have to stop by Lil City Creamery. It’s a small, charming shop that packs a big punch when it comes to flavor and personality. The Treats The ice cream was "to the point" perfect. We tried a few different flavors and every single one was a hit: • Butter Pecan: Rich and classic, a big win for my son. • Pistachio: Creamy with an authentic nutty flavor. • Cookies and Cream: Packed with plenty of cookie chunks and perfectly balanced. The Vibe & Decor The atmosphere here is hip, nostalgic, and incredibly fun. What really sets this place apart is the incredible decoration. One entire wall is covered in floor-to-ceiling glass shelves filled with an massive collection of pop-culture figures and bobbleheads. It’s like a mini-museum! We had a blast spotting characters from The Simpsons, Mario, The Incredibles, and even classic icons like Elvis. It gives the shop such a unique, lively personality that kids (and adults) will love. The Service Even though it’s a smaller creamery, the service was excellent. The two girls working were very friendly, patient, and made us feel right at home. Overall: Excellent ice cream, friendly staff, and the coolest decor in town. We will definitely be back!

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Lil City Creamery in Falls Church, Virginia, and I must say it was a delightful experience. The standout feature of this charming ice cream shop has to be the exceptional service provided by two young and friendly employees. They were not only welcoming but also incredibly knowledgeable about the fantastic ice cream they serve. Speaking of ice cream, the quality here is top-notch. The flavors are not overly sweet, and you can truly taste the organic and natural ingredients used. It's a refreshing change from overly sugary options at some other places. The store itself is clean, well-organized, and brimming with character. The owner's collection of action figures and cartoons adds a unique touch that sets this place apart. Parking was surprisingly hassle-free, with ample space in the back of the store. It's a rarity in this area, and it's definitely appreciated. A little background on Lil City Creamery: it's a small establishment with a rich history, making it a local gem. While the place is cozy, you can enjoy your ice cream in the little park next to it. The only drawback is the absence of a restroom, which can be a bit inconvenient, especially for families. Nonetheless, Lil City Creamery is a great spot for a sweet treat, fantastic service, and a touch of nostalgia. It's a must-visit for anyone in Falls Church!

The ice cream is excellent and the store is always staffed by very friendly high school students (each with their own tip jar to help with their college funds). The hours can be erratic, especially off-season, but the website is kept up to date. Available flavors vary by the day; if your favorite has been out for a while, you can text the owner to find out when it might be back in stock. It's a tiny shop with nowhere to sit inside, but a great find!

A tasty ice cream treat. A small ice cream shop with distinctive tasty ice creams. One can have ice cream cups or cones. I like the pecan butter ice cream and the chocolate chip butter peanut. A small park adjacent to ship is a nice place to sit and enjoy ice cream, especially in the evening
