The Story

The sweet scent of vanilla and cherry floats through the air, inviting you into a timeless soda fountain straight out of a picture book. Pull up a stool at the counter for a frothy, old-fashioned float or a scoop of rich ice cream, just like folks enjoyed generations ago. It’s a truly heartwarming spot where good cheer and classic treats make every visit feel like stepping back into simpler, sweeter times.

Best pharmacy ever! I forgot my medication at home when I came out to Steamboat for a camping trip and they were amazing. Walmart took 2hrs to tell me they didn’t have the medication, Walgreens said it could take 24-48hrs and they got it done within 15minutes of having the prescription sent over. They answered the phone everyone I called and were really professional. While we were in I was able to get my kids some toys and the soda and sandwiches looked amazing. We will definitely be back next time we are in town. I just hope it’s for soda and sandwiches instead of because I forgot my meds.

My husband and I shared: - Cherry Glace - The American Dream - Strawberry Float with Whipped Cream I enjoyed both drinks, but the American Dream was my favorite. The cherry glace was my first time having a phosphate. I loved the tartness, but I did want it to be a little sweeter. They had so many things I wanted to try, so I'll definitely be back next time I'm in Steamboat.

Not what it was. It’s not the new owners fault that they’re not Matt, but this doesn’t even feel like a small town pharmacy. Pharmacy closed early, no one could help me more than “come back tomorrow” despite me coming during business hours. I needed a medicine dropper, not anything that needs to be locked behind pharmacist key. This is just another tourist trap now, more of a gift shop. Forget small town local pharmacy. I guess I’ll support Walgreens or Walmart. Yuck.
