I wish I got the young lady's name who helped me (tall blonde) because she was amazing. She was energetic, knowledgeable, and confident. She made the best acai bowl I've had in a while. I wish I got her the next time I went in because I had a different experience with the other staff that was working. They didn't seem too thrilled to be working and even tried to tell me that I only get half the toppings and I helped them read the sign so we were on the same page... I then had to wait for a while to pay as if they just forgot about that part and moved on. Each time I was the only customer for a quick minute... I'm still giving 5 stars but definitely wanted to give a shout out to first experience. It was such a contrast - to the point thar I probably wouldn't have been excited to return had i experienced the latter first. I'm all about energy these days and don't like spending my money in places that don't look happy to have me as a customer. I know they're just "kids" so I don't mean to be harsh but customer service needs to be important to everyone who is getting paid to work with customers.

A nice place to stop in Joseph for frozen treats with a classic soda fountain shop. The menu offers milkshakes, frozen yogurt, sundaes, dole whip and many other treats with a wide variety of toppings. I did have to wait to wait a few minutes for service as nobody was working the counter. I selected the banana dole whip and sat down to eat. The dole whip was smooth and not really sweet. The shop features counter seating, a checkerboard floor and lots of chrome. A gift shop is next to the soda shop and has a number of interesting things to look at. Located on Main Street (Wallowa Lake Highway) in Joseph near West McCully Ave. A nice place to stop for soda fountain treats such as banana splits and ice cream with friendly service in a classic soda fountain.

A must see stop for the serious shoppers. Mad Mary’s has everything! Amazing home decor, kitchenware, toys, holiday decor, clothes, candy, and everything in between. Large shop has everything! Has the best 50’s diner that serves the best eclectic sodas and ice creams. Always a must stop for the Joseph, Oregon experience!
