  Do not come here. Lol. This place is just plain racist and nasty. It was raining and me and my friend decided to go get some ice cream because ice cream on a rainy day is amazing. We get there, rap music blasting. It takes the worker about 2 minutes to come out, and when she does she just looks at us and says NOTHING. I literally had to greet her first and say hi, give us a second. She doesn’t respond, just turns around and walks away. She comes back like 3 minutes later, no explanation of the menu, not asking us anything. I explain my order and she doesn’t ask about toppings or anything. When I ask, she seems annoyed. The transaction is barely finished when a white family walks in, and without even handing me my spoon or napkin, she immediately turns away and greets them in this fake excited tone. Mind you, my friend next to me hasn’t even ordered or paid yet. As my friend is paying, she is straight up ignoring her and having a whole conversation with the white family like we don’t exist. The transaction isn’t even over, and she doesn’t say bye, doesn’t say thank you, nothing. Just turns around like we’re an inconvenience. Then the music suddenly changes to white pop music… like what is this??? I have NEVER experienced anything like this in my life, and for it to happen at an ice cream shop in Union, NJ, at the hands of another woman of color is NASTY. And to make it worse, the ice cream wasn’t even special. We were literally about to go to Carvel but decided to support a small business instead… and it was horrible. So disappointing.

  This ice cream shop is a neighborhood staple! I love coming here every summer to try out new things. They have tons of unique flavors, Italian ices, soft serve ice cream, hard ice cream, milkshakes AND MORE. They offer flavored cones such as red velvet and ube. Every topping imaginable and there are endless combinations. My fave ice creams from there are the dulce de leche and biscoff. A little pricey but it’s worth the money for such a great experienc

  Yesterday my family and I stopped by Magic Fountain after dinner for some ice cream, and it turned into one of those experiences you don’t forget. When we walked in, there was a pretty long line. Nothing overwhelming, just enough to tell you this place is loved. Every order ahead of us felt like a full production. Milkshakes loaded with toppings, fresh waffles being made, multiple scoops and flavor combinations. The kind of orders that can slow things down. But what stood out was the woman behind the counter. She was working alone, and not once did the smile leave her face. No stress, no rushing people, no attitude. She greeted every customer, talked to the kids, joked with regulars, and made everyone feel like they mattered. In a world where customer service is hit or miss, this was refreshing. Turns out, she was the owner. And honestly, that made it even better. You can tell she truly cares about what she’s doing and the people she’s serving. It’s been a while since I’ve been here, but after that experience, I’ll definitely be back. Because plenty of places have good ice cream… not all of them have that level of heart behind the counter.

  used to go here all the time, went recently and got treated like i was in the way.. it actually made me not want my ice cream anymore so i threw it away. i paid good money like everyone else and deserved at least a “goodnight” or “thank you” like the 5 others ahead of me. will never go back again
