IM SO HAPPY WE CAME HERE! What a delightful and nostalgic experience! My husband and I came here 6/14/26 around 5pm and the most delightful young lady helped us. I asked her what her favorite was and she said the salted caramel Oreo, so I ordered a scoop of that and birthday cake. IT WAS SO GOOD YALL. So much creamier and tastier than anything store bought. We also got mint chocolate chip ice cream cookie sandwiches to go and they were also amazing. We also got a to-go cup of the pup ice cream for our dog and she loved it (she’s very picky). The store is so cute and was nostalgic of places I would go as a kid. A very magical experience~ we will be back!

This place is really the best ice cream in the area. The ice cream is creamy and smooth with lots of different flavors to try. Their mint chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches with M&M chocolate cookies is amazing.

We’re so lucky to live with this gem in Lakewood. Such a wonderful place. The ice cream selection is great, the prices are awesome, the staff are friendly, and the joint is clean. We love coming here for family treat nights and I hope my kids have the memory of ice cream at Magill’s for years to come. We’ll always be happy to come here and play games together over ice cream.

I can understand why they have a really good rating because of the good service and variety of ice cream. But unfortunately I am a chocolate/vanilla person. I've had those two staple flavors my entire life from just about everywhere in the world. I've never had bad chocolate ice cream until now. It's actually the worst chocolate ice cream I've ever had. It's not awful but it's just not that great. I would expect better. The vanilla is not that great either. I assume people don't come here for the two basic flavors.
