Main Street Creamery is a wonderful family-owned ice cream shop in a very convenient downtown Sarasota location. There is plenty of street parking nearby, and the shop itself is much larger than you might expect from the storefront. What really impressed us was how relaxed and welcoming the experience was. The shop was well staffed, so even though we had a hard time deciding among all the tempting flavors, we never felt rushed. The staff was happy to provide samples and gave us plenty of time to make up our minds, which is important when there is this much goodness to choose from! We eventually went with the Key Lime Pie ice cream and loved it. The waffle cones are freshly made on the premises, which makes the ice cream even better. There are three distinct seating areas: bar stools at the front facing Main Street, tables in the middle section, and a more spacious seating area in the rear with dining chairs and a bench. The whole place is bright, cheerful, and comfortable. The owner even took the time to chat with us, which added to the warm, personal feel of this family-run business. We loved every minute of our visit and will definitely be back. Highly recommended!

Main Street Creamery was such a great stop! The ice cream was delicious with plenty of unique flavors to choose from, and everything tasted fresh and creamy. The staff was welcoming, patient, and happy to offer samples. Toasted marshmallow topping was the best. The shop has a fun atmosphere and is in a perfect location for a sweet treat while exploring downtown Sarasota. We’ll definitely be back next time we’re in town!

Top 3 best ice cream cone I've ever had and not 3! I don't have any dietary restrictions however I tried the dairy-free toasted coconut ice cream scoop and the snicker'd scoop topped with the marshmallow merengue and it was incredibly delicious. I still think about it in my dreams from my bed in New York.

Such a cute spot in the heart of downtown Sarasota! They were so nice and let us sample so many flavors. The ice cream texture is awesome—hardy ice cream and creamy when it melts. 🎉🍦
