Decided to a last minute day trip to Upstate NY and happened upon this iconic spot. Friendly service, very yummy food, and eclectic atmosphere. We thoroughly enjoyed our lunch! I wish we had room for dessert. The sundaes looked great and they make their own flavors.

Really nice place to stop. They have full breakfast and lunches not only ice cream with fresh ingredients. The personel are really nice and the place super clean. Nice decor too.

Always a treat to have breakfast, lunch, or ice cream here. The atmosphere and decor make it a really special place. The staff is wonderful. Chestertown is lucky to have this gem of a business. We love the Main Street Ice Cream Parlor!

This was a really nice, casual lunch/breakfast place and we got sandwiches to take with us, which were delicious (and you can get both hot and cold sandwiches!) . The waitress was really nice, and told us in advance that the food might take a while, which was very helpful (and the food took less time than she told us too!).
