To begin, this place seemed like a very nice place to stop by for some sweets. However, these nostalgic moments lasted only for seconds. Overall, the prices are out of the roof and I get that for the sweets you can’t get from your local grocery stores. Instead, all of your sweets you can buy at a normal grocery store are marked up like crazy. I had strolled through the aisles, and asked if I could taste test some of their products, they insisted that payment is made before we try. There is no issue with this, the issue was that they had a dirty look on their face which is totally unacceptable

I recently visited Maumee Valley Chocolate, and I have to say—the quality of their candy is absolutely incredible. The shop itself is spotless, beautifully set up, and has a welcoming atmosphere. The selection is unlike anything else in Toledo; they offer unique candies you simply won’t find at other stores. And the smell when you walk in? Amazing. I truly wish I could give them six stars based on product alone. I just happened to stop by for their chocolate strawberries. They were absolutely delicious! The staff behind the counter was super sweet too. These really made my day ❤️
