The MoonPie General Store in Chattanooga is a nostalgic, fun-filled tribute to the iconic Southern treat born right here in the city in 1917. Endless MoonPie options like classic chocolate/vanilla, salted caramel, key lime, birthday editions, and seasonal ones like peach cobble. The store is also packed with retro candies, old-fashioned sodas in glass bottles, vintage-style toys, apparel, mugs, gifts, and MoonPie merch. It feels like stepping back in time with a playful, Southern charm.

Larger store with trinkets, Chattanooga apparel, moonpies and moonpie coffee! We grabbed a coffee to go! Larger than the other location. It’s IN SIDE the Big White Boat.

This is a cool store on a riverboat. We liked the old downtown location, but this has more items to choose from. I must be honest, we drove right past it twice, listening to Google. Parking can be a little issue, but I found decent handicapped spots. Maybe next time we will try the restaurant upstairs. If you are from the South, MoonPies and RC Cola just make sense! I posted the Trump Hot Sauce not as a political item, but as a unique gift idea you won't see everywhere.
