The Story

The museum saved an authentic Art Deco fountain and put it back to work: phosphates, ice cream sodas and sundaes served by staff behind original chrome and tile. It's a working exhibit you can drink.

Stopped by the Soda Fountain with our 4 year old niece after playing at Franklin Park. Got some ice cream snacks, drinks, and cookies. Jeff the owner was super friendly and welcoming. The menu looks great and it is close to our house so we will be back for soup or sandwiches.

This is such a convenient stop at the park. I do wish there was an actual soda fountain. I think that would make it extra special. But the sandwiches are fantastic. Great quality and you can tell he really cares about what he does.

I love stopping by the museum soda fountain because it’s friendly and quick stop. Their soups are so tasty and the sandwiches are my go to for a quick bite plus customizable! It’s a great lunch treat before or after a trip to the Yakima Valley Museum.
