Northern Soda makes small-batch cane sodas in New Brighton and pours them at a counter with a rotating tap list. Floats are made with local ice cream and served in the glass they belong in.

We loved our first visit to Northern Soda Company! It's a very cool space. The woman who greeted us was so friendly as she showed us the space. The have a soda bar, a space with games and activities, and a little shop where you can buy cans of soda and merch. We got the soda flight (with Shirley Temple, spiced peach, cotton candy, and lemon drop). They were all great! We were lucky enough to visit when they had one of their mix lab events, and it was fun to create our own drink. We snagged a growler of our favorite flavor and a build-your-own six pack before we left. This was a great experience from start to finish! We would love to come back too sample more of their flavors with family and friends, and we'll be looking for Northern Soda on store shelves!

We’ve been to the tap room a couple of times and always enjoy the drinks and the atmosphere, so we thought it would be great to host our baby shower here and I’m so glad we did! They shut the whole place down for our private event and we had close to 50 people there. It was co-Ed shower and kids were welcome as well. The team at Northern was willing to work with us on everything and all the guests said they had a great time!

My sister and I went to the taproom and had a great experience! The owner was very welcoming and explained the sodas to us, since it was our first time in - great service! I tried the dirty soda with huckleberry soda, cream, and cherry. It was delicious! The soda quality made this the best dirty soda that I’ve had so far. My sister got the soda flight and loved all of the flavors. We’ll definitely be back to try more sodas and bring home more cans!

We hosted my daughter’s baby shower at Northern Soda Co., and it was truly the best decision we could have made. The space created the perfect party atmosphere, and the staff was efficient, fun, respectful, and professional. They helped make our special day both perfect and memorable. We had about 55 guests, and the total cost-including the deposit plus what we spent on food and drinks—came out to roughly $24 per person, which was very reasonable for the services we received. They even provided a tour and a scavenger hunt, which our guests loved. If you’re looking for a family‑friendly venue for a party, this is definitely the place—and Tanya is the perfect host.
