Take a trip back in time at old prairie town. This little adventure nugget has free entry, free parking, and lots of replica old prairie style township to walk through and interact with. Lots of signage with historical facts give more insight into the significance of the structures. Bathrooms are available, as well as a few general store / gift shop type places. It is also adjacent to the botanical gardens. An equally enjoyable experience! Topeka is hiding some GEMS!

This was a very cool experience going back in time walking through the town. Really takes you back in time and the tulip garden was beautiful and very peaceful. Also check out the gift shop. Very cool gifts to take with you!

Fantastic little detour. Arrived just before 4, but the soda fountain worker was still more than happy to serve us. Very friendly, very well maintained. Definitely worth your time to stop if you're nearby and looking for something easy to do!

A great place to take the kids for a historical walk, also has an outdoor event space, and make sure to stop and feed the fish make sure to bring quarters!
