Since July 4, 1885, Orne’s Candy Store has been a beloved Boothbay Harbor landmark. Originally opened by Addie Orne, the store brought a sparkle to Main Street from its early days selling ice cream and penny candy. Today, stepping inside still feels like visiting the past—glass cases brimming with fudge, salt water taffy, chocolates, licorice, and timeless treats, many displayed in nothing-fancy antique dishes.
