What an unexpectedly cute little ice cream shop at the North edge of Churubusco. Very mid-century vibe going on that is somewhere between a soda shop and a 60's home kitchen. One wall has a beautifully maintained set of kitchen appliances and cabinets. All the appliances are in full working order and the cabinet fridge/freezer combo is actually used by the shop. There are old soda shop stools and kitchen tables to sit at inside and additional seating outside. Many vintage board games are provided to entertain yourself while you eat their delicious ice cream that comes in many unique flavors. Otto's is definitely worth the stop if your looking for a cool treat in a cool place!

We stopped here on our way through the town. This little shop is incredibly adorable! The atmosphere is fun and playful. Everyone is happy and enjoying their time. They have games on the tables and a fun play area for the little ones! We brought our 40’ rv through the lot and the owners were incredibly welcoming and kind. The staff was happy and seemed to genuinely enjoy their job and they were so kind with their interactions with their customers and the children. The ice cream was very smooth and creamy and the waffle cones were fresh and crunchy with a hint of sweet just like they should be! I am so thankful that we got the chance to stop and visit and get this wonderful sweet treat! I will stop every time we pass this way!

I was pleasantly surprised when driving through this little town and I came upon this ice cream shop. It was definitely good enough to go out of your way to eat there. The staff on the inside was amazingly nice and the food was even better than that. I highly recommend sampling the ice cream before buying so that way you can get exactly what you're looking for. I can't say this enough "One of the best ice cream places I've ever had".

It cost more than I thought it would be, but it was worth it!! Best ice cream I've had in a long time. We moved here 2 years ago missed going to them last year. Worth the wait. We'll be coming back for sure!
