    Wait by the front door inside, someone will seat you. They have great booth selections, they even have a air-conditioned outside patio with a fan that is very comfortable. They have a jukebox that does work. In order to start the jukebox, you need to put your coins in the miniature jukeboxes that are on the countertop seating and then the jukebox will play. There are little tot shoes of owls all around the ceiling overhead. They are small, so it's kind of hard to make them out, but they do have larger owls, sculptures scattered around the restaurant. They are also willing to customize your shake. Make sure to ask for their special shake menu, it has more choices than the shakes listed in their regular food menus. The wait staff you can tell they love working here. If you go to the back to the restrooms, it is filled with a smell of bacon and roasting meat. Most interesting sent for a bathroom I ever smelled.

    The Owl Cafe is SOOOO good! We stopped here on our way back home from a road trip. When you go to a restaurant in your home city, you probably do what everyone else does and always order the same one or two things on the menu. When I saw The Owl Cafe menu, I said if I lived in Albuquerque I would try everything on that menu. It was hard to pick what to eat because EVERYTHING sounded great! My husband and I were very happy with our dinners. It was hard to pick because everything sounded great, but I decided on the roast beef sandwich with cheddar and mozzarella cheese, tomato, avocado and green chili, and my husband had the chicken fried steak sandwich. Both came with yummy French fries. The atmosphere is that of a ‘50s diner and it made for a fun dining experience. The Owl Cafe has my hearty recommendation!

    This is a spectacular restaurant, the old school vibes and the incredible food. Everything was just simply amazing. There is a wonderful little record selector at your table. And the staff was incredibly nice and prompt. Will definitely be revisiting in the near future.

    Mother’s Day was a GREAT day! MEG was an AMAZING waitress!! She was so kind and funny and made sure to pay attention to every detail of our orders and needs during our visit. I got the California burger and added an egg… she made sure the chef kept the boogies off! Best burger I’ve ever had! Way to go MEG and chef!!
