The Story

This charming spot offers classic soda fountain vibes and an old diner atmosphere, perfect for a nostalgic stop. While their Italian sodas are good, patrons rave about the quality and generous scoop sizes of their ice cream, making it a great dessert destination. Don't overlook the surprisingly delicious homemade sandwiches, like the basil chicken pesto, for a satisfying lunch.

This place feels random, but don’t be deceived by the casual decor and old diner like atmosphere. We stopped for a quick lunch and were very pleasantly surprised by the fantastic food. It feels home made but the sandwiches and soup tasted wonderful. The two girls working there were very pleasant and friendly.

Then it was time for dessert, I had a rootbeer float. MAKE SURE YOU STIR IT!!! At first it was awful but then I mixed it and I felt like I needed a 1950s poodle skirt- it was fabulous. Partner had a cheeseburger which looked like it was from a commercial and a s'mores sundae. I had a bite and it was yummy. We ended up getting two lil' stuffe

The prices were average, but the quality and scoop size was above average. :) OWL's window has a sticker claiming they are a bike friendly business and that definitely seems to be true. There is a ton of bike parking right outside the walk-up window, and it's not just your standard setup. There is a bike repair station with a repair stand and a vending machine that contained a variety of essentials, including tubes, bars/gels, energy dr
