The Story
The bell above the door chimed a sweet welcome into Paradise Ice Cream Parlor, a haven of checkered floors and a delightful soda fountain hum. Each scoop felt like a little burst of yesterday, piled high with creamy goodness that brought a smile to every face. This charming retro spot on Collins Road truly felt like a sun-drenched afternoon wrapped in the simple joy of an ice cream cone.

The ice cream here was good little on the pricey side. But if you go in the place, has very cool wall decor all over. Over all a good little ice cream shop. It's right down the road from the Smithville camp grounds and marina.

Awesome little place to stop by to get a good scoop of ice cream or my personal favorite banana split. The young people working there are awesome too, polite and friendly.

Great hidden gem. It was about an hour before the place was open. The owner was cooking at Captains Corner but decided to let me and my wife in so we could get Ice Cream. Great friendly place and great thick and rich Ice Cream

My family stopped by this cute ice cream parlor and absolutely loved it! It's close to Smithville Lake and has an awesome, retro vibe to it. The inside was clean, the service was great and the ice cream was delicious! 10/10 recommend. Also, there are some cute chairs that make for perfect photo ops. (A booth that looks like the back seat of a car, a bench that looks like an ice cream Sunday and a GIANT chair on the edge of the little plaza).
