    I really want to love this local farm, ice cream producer. Some of their ice cream is lovable and good, with very simple and basic natural ingredients. Like the “root beer” ice cream that is pictured. But a number of their ice creams have unnatural ingredients like petroleum based colors like Yellow 5 and Yellow 6, or unnecessary additives like vegetable oil.

    I recently picked up a hand packed quart of Luscious Lemon ice cream🍋🍦 from Picket Fence Creamery for the first time at my local Fareway, and I can honestly say it’s the best ice cream I’ve ever had. 🤤 The flavor was unbelievably fresh, rich, and creamy, with the perfect balance of sweet and tangy lemon. Every bite tasted like it was made with high-quality ingredients and genuine care. After trying just one quart, I can already tell why so many people rave about Picket Fence Creamery. I’m excited to visit the creamery itself and try even more flavors. If you see it at your local Fareway, or have the chance to stop by the creamery, don’t hesitate. You won’t be disappointed.     I don't like to have to give bad reviews but I have to give a review of this ice cream. I bought two containers of two different flavors from a local store that carries their ice cream and it was PRICEY. I figured, for that price, it has to be good. NO it is not good. Worst ice cream I have ever had. Not creamy at all and full of ice crystals so that means it is full of water. Flavors I bought were mint chocolate chip and chocolate cherry. Did not taste good at all. I will not purchase ever again.

    The ladies that run the shop are so sweet. The ice cream is our favorite we always have some in our freezer. They also have a large selection of local foods.
