The Story

Very cool, lots to see and it definitely takes a few hours. Very well taken care of and the museum has everything! The price was well worth it. Glad we stopped and also camped here.

Great museum with a lot of really unique pieces representing the history of America. You have everything from an original covered wagon to a general store complete with many examples of original sale items, as well as three steam locomotives. Some of the exhibits are looking tired, but it’s good to see some effort being put in to helping keep the place up. Very glad to have had the chance to go back!

This place is absolutely amazing I can't believe it took us so long to stop here and look around. I had no idea from looking at this place from the outside what all we are going to discover once we went inside. It was so amazing we ended up going twice in one month, my kids absolutely love it here there is so much to explore. We're definitely going to make this an annual visit from now on. So well organized and what a beautiful place so many gems to discover. Most all ages I think would enjoy visiting pioneer village. My kids are 11 and 12 when we had our first visit and we were there until closing time and my kids still didn't want to leave. The people that were working were super amazingly kind and helpful and knowledgeable. We will definitely be back again. They also have a cafe available at certain times. If you have any questions, feel free to call them, they are very kind and friendly, definitely a place to visit at least once in your life. My did had some photos to this post however it is not a fraction of what you will discover

You MUST come and tour the Pioneer Village in Minden Nebraska! The history is incredible. 27 buildings full of amazing historical machines, taxidermy and so much more. It's worth the trip!
