My beautiful Fiance and I went to Plains Georgia recently. That's us in the pictures. This was her first trip here, and we stopped in at all the little shops including Plains Peanuts and General Store. We had some fried peanuts and some delicious homemade peanut butter ice cream. If you get a chance to go I highly recommend it. Get you some delicious peanut butter ice cream and learn all about President Jimmy Carters hometown. I believe you will be glad you did.

I've heard about the peanut butter ice cream here and finally got to try it. It comes soft serve in the back of the store and there are several different types of cones (or a cup) to put it in. At the front of the store they have samples of fried salted peanuts. There's all kinds of peanut products here. The staff is very friendly and there are seats outside to eat your ice cream. It's worth the stop but they aren't open late so get there early

Loved our visit here - not only are the peanut products delicious, but the soft serve peanut butter ice cream was amazing! Lots of Carter souvenirs too - a great small town general store feel full of souvenirs. We received fantastic service, as well! Thank you :) You made our day
