I came in to try the ice-cream and it was enjoyable. We got the salted caramel and blueberry cheesecake and we liked it! I also tried some of the popcorn and it was fun to see all the different flavor combos. I agree with other reviews that the popcorn wasn’t the freshest, but I’ve only tried the ones in the sample containers.

The popcorn wall is fantastic in concept, but I think a bit gimmicky & awkward in execution. The mango I wanted got stuck in the container, and me trying to fill my mini-bag with the confetti flavor just ended up in a big mess. I had to get the staff's help both times, which she was great about, but it seemed far easier for her just to fill up from the giant tubs in the back. Two mini bags was $7 (plus tax). I was impressed with how crunchy the popcorn stayed, even after a long flight home. The flavors are quite bold and sugary, almost like candy, and my kids loved them a little too much. It would have definitely been fun to to bring them in to experience the store.

Let's talk about this poppin' business in Overland Park, Kansas! If you love popcorn and/or ice cream, this spot is right up your alley! Right when you walk in, you are instantly hit with the delicious smell of flavorful popcorn. There is an entire wall with a variety of different flavors ranging from salty, sweet, and everything in between. You can stick with the classics: like butter, cheese, and caramel . You can go the sweet route and try strawberry, blueberry, grape, and even more fruity flavors. There are chocolate covered popcorn options for our chocolate lovers. My two favorites: the dill pickle and the fried pickle popcorn flavors. I also ordered the caramel cheesy and buttery combined flavor. Admittedly, I tried just about all of the flavors and there was not a single one I didn't like. Along with popcorn, I ordered a cup of Rocky Road ice cream...and of course it was delicious. If you simply love Popcorn, or if you were looking for a great gift in the Kansas City area, this is the spot for you to pop in to.

I like supporting local, but this location’s service seems to have gone downhill. I came in with an order of 16 mini bags/2 flavors. Not a small order, so understand wait time especially with only 1 worker. I didn’t like that she had no recommendations for me when they were out of a flavor I asked for and seemed annoyed when I said the wrong ‘Cinnamon’ flavor (like I was wasting her time). It just felt very unwelcoming so I don’t think I’ll be back.
