If you’re visiting Frankfort, this is definitely a place worth stopping by! The chocolate tour was fun and informative, and I enjoyed learning about the history of Rebecca Ruth Chocolates and the famous Bourbon Balls. The staff were welcoming, and the tour was interesting from start to finish. Of course, the chocolates were absolutely delicious, and there were plenty of treats to choose from in the gift shop. A wonderful experience for anyone who loves chocolate or local Kentucky history! Highly recommended.

Delicious chocolates and great staff. So much fun to try these Bourbon Balls from the original maker and the original recipe. We sampled a few flavors and all were amazing. We have to make room in our bags because we bought so many delicious flavors to take home!! We were there on a Sunday and were not able to do the tour, bummer.

My husband and I visited Rebecca Ruth’s during a trip to the Frankfort area and thoroughly enjoyed the tour. It was engaging, informative, and offered a meaningful look at the challenges the original owners faced and overcame. Their story reflects true perseverance. Although I’m not a bourbon fan, their bourbon balls are exceptional — dangerously good, in fact.

Travelling full time, we never pass up a factory tour! We arrived during lunch so had to head out to find some ourselves while we waited. We were greeted on the porch by Callie, the sweetest gal in all of Kentucky, who offered us an umbrella since we were walking to find lunch! I promised to bring it back and off we went! All of the employees are amazing, very friendly and you can tell they love what they do. Callie went out of her way to make sure each customer was treated special, she's the best of the best! Our tour guide was Elizabeth who, although very new to touring, was excellent. She knew the factory well and was able to answer all but one of our questions; where'd the Kiss wrapping machine come from!! The factory is small and run by just 9 employees, complete with the Lucy station!! The chocolates are perfect small sweet confections, rich and creamy with that old time goodness.
