This was an amazing experience. So much candies from known brands to their in factory freshly made treats from chocolate, fudge, popcorn and candies. Also had so many interesting jams and preservatives. Clean restrooms. Friendly staff ready to assist. It was easily accessible of the fwy as we traveled cross-country with plenty of space for commercial truck and our large uhual pulling a tow.

If you are ever driving down I-44 through the heart of Missouri, do yourself a favor and take Exit 118 in Phillipsburg. Sitting right off the highway is Redmon's Candy Factory, an absolute wonderland for anyone with a sweet tooth and a nostalgic heart. From the moment you step inside, you are greeted by the rich, warm aroma of homemade fudge and the kind of old-fashioned charm that is hard to find these days. Redmon's is far more than just a quick roadside stop; it is a destination in its own right. The sheer variety of treats available is staggering. Whether you are a fan of classic saltwater taffy, rich dark chocolates, or their famous, melt-in-your-mouth homemade fudge, there is something here to delight every palate. The shelves are lined with colorful jars and baskets filled with both modern favorites and hard-to-find retro candies that will instantly transport you back to your childhood. What truly sets Redmon's apart, however, is the atmosphere. It feels like a step back in time, but with all the modern conveniences you could hope for during a long road trip. The store is impeccably clean, spacious, and incredibly welcoming. The staff are genuinely friendly, always ready to offer a sample of their latest fudge batch or help you track down a specific confection. For travelers, the convenience is unbeatable. They offer plenty of parking, including ample space for trucks and RVs, making it an incredibly easy off-and-on from the interstate. And as any seasoned road-tripper knows, clean restrooms are a priceless commodity—Redmon's boasts some of the cleanest and most spacious facilities you will find anywhere on the road. Attached to the candy factory is the "World's Largest Gift Store," making it the perfect place to stretch your legs, pick up a unique souvenir, and satisfy your cravings all at once. It is a five-star experience through and through, and a must-visit for anyone passing through the area.

They had many flavored popcorn and large variety of candles! No one was particularly friendly though. Hence the lesser rating. I may be old fashioned but in customer service jobs I still expect that, but I also have to say, at least no one was rude.

Best bathrooms in Missouri! Make sure you use the one at the candy store, not at the craft shop. Sparkling chandeliers, beautiful mirrors, great music! You gotta stop!
