We tried Shain's of Maine this afternoon for the first time. Ordered a Half and Half plate and Lobster roll. The roll was only $12.99, about 4 Oz, but fresh and tasty. Either melted butter or mayo. The clams and scallops plate was only $22.99. The scallops were small bay scallops, and the clams weren't as sweet as I would like (Clam Box, Ipswich Ma, for example), but the price was unbeatable! Also got delicious ice cream for dessert!

The food was delicious! July special....Scallop plate for $9.99!! A lot of food! Lobster rolls are delicious and quite affordable. Can either have them with butter or mayo...fries and onion rings are yummy 😋 and we bought two quarts of their ice cream for home...creamy! So popular the line wrapped around the inside of the restaurant!

Fantastic place for excellent food! Casual and relaxed place with patron friendly prices and excellent portions. Their ice cream is amazing too! We love going here often! PS! Be aware they do not serve hamburgers or cheese burgers.

Great first time dining here, great patio for your furry friend. Great prices and service, very unique fun ice cream restaurant. Chili dogs and haddock sandwich yum.
