We savored juicy burgers and towering ice cream sundaes, each bite a sweet taste of classic Americana joy. That cozy parlor, smelling of grilled onions and vanilla, felt like a timeless stop on a perfect road trip adventure.

They keep it simple with a small menu and it's delicious. Recommend the Maltese burger. The combo comes with a huge portion of shoestring type fries. The manager Harry was friendly and nice to talk to, and gage us reccomendatioms for things around the town. There is an outdoor seating area with large umbrellas as well as airdonack chairs near a stage that had live music. .

My family visited Medora on June 14 to celebrate Flag Day and enjoy the parade. We found a great viewing spot and headed out to grab food for the kids. I was surprised to learn that Badlands Pizza Parlor no longer offers pizza on its children's menu, leaving only macaroni and cheese, buttered noodles, or celery sticks as options. With the parade about to start, limited food choices nearby, and a bit of a communication barrier while asking about the menu, I left feeling more than a little frazzled. Thankfully, I walked over to Sheriff Bear's Burgers and Ice Cream, where Harry completely turned our day around. He greeted me with kindness, listened patiently as I vented about my predicament, and helped me quickly get food that would keep my hungry kids happy. Thanks to him, what could have been a stressful afternoon became a wonderful family memory. The burgers were excellent, and Harry's signature trick of flipping the bun inside out is pure genius! Crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and much easier for little hands to manage. More importantly, Harry's compassion, patience, and positive attitude transformed our experience. Instead of worrying about feeding hangry kids before the parade, we got to relax, enjoy a great meal, and have a fantastic day together. Harry is a gem, and he deserves recognition for the outstanding customer service he provides. Thank you, Harry!

My wife and ate here on opening day. I am a celiac so they did the delicious Maltese burger with no bun, and the gluten free fries were amazing. Washed it down with there killer lemonade. Great stop if you’re in Medora. Loy

We stopped here for dinner on our trip while visiting Medora. We got the burger and fries. Myself and both my kids 4 and 6 loved everything. The gentleman who took our order was very friendly and welcoming. There was also live music and the atmosphere was very family friendly. My girls really enjoyed this dinner stop. I would forsure come back if we return to Medora on future trips.
