I was recommended Shop Springs Creamery from my DMV agent and I'm so thankful she did! Though Shop Springs is quite a drive from us (roughly 25 minutes), it was totally worth the nice Sunday drive out to the countryside to enjoy real, freshly made ice cream. Parking is simple, you just find a spot on the gravel. There is a drive thru if you prefer to stay in your car. There's a bench out front or picnic benches under the awning across from the shop. I had 2 scoops in a bowl (they have waffle cones but no waffle bowls) and chose the birthday cake and Cookie Monster flavors. Both were exceptional. The ice cream is very thick and has a good amount of sweetness. I really loved the scenery here, it's cozy and reminds me of my grandparent's old house in the country. There's open pasture and you can see the cows. This is a great place for anyone, especially families!

Shop Springs Creamery is worth the trip. Some the best flavored freshly made icecream and local milk. They have fresh strawberries picked from the fields in the back and a greenhouse with a wide array of plants. Highly recommend. Just an FYI no onsite restroom. They also have a drive thru, but we enjoyed the weather and ate at the covered pavilion.

Wonderful hidden gem! The ice cream is out of this world. Best flavors all around. We enjoyed taking home a gallon of milk and meats from the freezer. Give it a try! You wont be disappointed!!!

I live in Lebanon and used to go to Shop Springs frequently. I had heard the formula for the icecream was changed to be more all natural. While the idea in theory is great, the icecream suffered. The strawberry is AWFUL now. Colors and textures are way off. I miss the strawberry puree that was in it. I might get another flavor, but I'm not hopeful. I will continue to support them because I love local hometown places, but I'm disappointed.
