We saw the high ratings and thought we would give it a try. We all got stuffed snowballs. I’ll start with the good: The ice cream was soft and tasty. Now the bad: They were out of several syrups so we had to go with what was available. The ice was chunky and not what you’d expect from a true New Orleans light fluffy shaved ice snowball. They were also a little light on the syrup so not the best experience overall. Lastly one server was sweet and pleasant while the other seemed irritated that we were there.

Stopped in around 7:30 on a Saturday night. It was modestly busy when we came in and there were two super sweet employees. My husband got an affogato with salted caramel ice cream and I got a brownie Sunday with Chocolate chip Cookie dough. Both were super great. They got really busy after we got our treats and they have sooo many flavors of ice cream and seemingly every flavor of snowball. The ice cream was delicious and smooth but not too sweet.

A great way to beat the summer heat is a scoop or two from Slidell Ice Cream Co! The young ladies working here were so sweet and friendly, which made our ice cream even sweeter! Thanks for making our day! Keep up the great work!

The ice cream is sooo good. So many delicious flavors too. Good size scoops and such friendly and helpful staff. Definitely the best ice cream place in Slidell.
