Amazing Reuben and Killer Ice Cream – A Must-Stop in Peabody We drove over from Valley Center (about 45 minutes each way) for our second visit to Southside Creamery & Deli, and it was every bit as fantastic as the first time—maybe even better! We couldn't resist coming back for that incredible Reuben sandwich. It's grilled to perfection on fresh rye, stacked with tender corned beef, sauerkraut that's just the right tangy kick, melty Swiss cheese, and their signature spicy Russian house dressing that adds the perfect creamy, zesty heat. Juicy, flavorful, and seriously one of the best Reubens we've had anywhere— that dressing takes it to another level! Totally satisfying and worth every mile. We capped it off with scoops of Ashby's Sterling ice cream—rich, creamy, and the perfect sweet finish. Generous portions, super fresh, and it hit the spot after the drive. The spot has that cozy, friendly small-town Peabody vibe—quick and welcoming service, clean, and just a great place to relax. If you're anywhere in the area (Wichita side or Flint Hills), make the trip—it's a hidden gem for sandwiches and ice cream. We're already talking about visit number three!

Everything was SPECTACULAR! From the food, to the drinks, to the dessert, to the atmosphere, to the service! What a wonderful addition to downton Peabody! A must-stop on our list now!

Wow!! Just love this new gem. It’s our new go-to ice cream shop. Anne is wonderful and the ice cream is just as sweet as she is. Highly recommend!

Wonderful visit to this great deli! Stop by for one of their wonderful sandwiches and don’t forget a scoop of ice cream while there. Enjoy the wonderful ambiance and great service by the staff. Don’t miss this one!!
