We’ve lived in Henderson for years and can’t believe it took us this long to finally try Southwest Diner in Boulder City. We stopped in for breakfast, and everything was excellent. I had the Eggs Benedict, my wife had the biscuits and gravy, and our son had the kids’ French toast with bacon. Everything came out hot, fresh, and generously portioned. The highlight was definitely the homemade cinnamon roll, which was delicious and easily big enough to share. The service was friendly, the atmosphere was welcoming, and the whole place had a great hometown diner feel. We can definitely see why Southwest Diner has such a loyal following. We’ll absolutely be back!

Had a great experience here. Onion rings were excellent. Had carne asada tacos which were very good. Nice seasonings that all added just the right heat and flavor. Homemade coconut cream pie was just like grandma’s.

Came here after visiting Lake Mead. There is a decent amount of parking, with a lot in the back and plenty of street parking. Service was excellent, and I got seated and served fairly quickly. I ended up ordering the Boulder Burrito and a Cinnamon Roll. The portions were massive, and I had to take some leftovers home, which is never a bad thing. The burrito was overstuffed, and unfortunately there was no way for me to pick it up without it falling apart immediately. Eating a burrito with a knife and fork felt a bit weird, but the flavors were wonderful. The cinnamon roll was very rich and heavy, and it was very filling. All in all, a pleasant experience.

Southwest Diner is a place you must try! We went for breakfast. They have a great selection of options, and I loved that the portion sizes were very generous. Our server—his name escapes me, but he was the only gentleman we saw—was friendly and his service was impeccable. He truly made the experience even better. It was the perfect spot for my family since they offer both American and Mexican-style dishes. Highly recommended—treat yourself!
