The Story

Stepping into Super Secret Ice Cream felt like a sweet trip back in time, all checkerboard floors and happy, whispered secrets. The creamy, cold scoops were pure New England bliss, each bite a perfect echo of simpler days. It’s the kind of cozy spot where every smile feels genuine and every treat brings a little extra sunshine to Main Street.

Not-so-super-secret, but they truly do have incredible ice cream. Wonderful texture, not icy, and the flavors are never artifical-tasting or overpowering. They make some fun creative flavors, but truthfully my favorites have been the simpler, classic ones - vanilla bean creme fraiche, single origin chocolate, Mount Cabot Maple, and Trillium coffee. I haven't tried the non-dairy options, but they do always have at least one on their rotating menu. The homemade waffle cones/bowls/chips are delicious as well. Plenty of seating, both in and outdoors. The staff are always so friendly, and I love that they source so many of their ingredients locally and ethically. Definitely worth the detour if you're anywhere near Bethlehem.

My waiter Jordan at Riverwalk in Lincoln referred me here and so glad he did. Friendly service, clean and bright indoor eating and outdoor seating also available. A great location right across from the colonial theatre in Bethlehem and a short walk from a fantastic brewery. Rek-Lis. The ice cream was delicious with unique proprietary flavours made with wholesome ingredients. They offer a unique way of serving six scoops for those who have a big appetite or wish to share which they call a flight and is served in an egg carton (my all-time favourite was the honeycomb). Servers were helpful in describing the flavours. Worth the visit!

Some of the flavors are sort of artisanal and won't appeal to everyone. But there should be at least one flavor everyone can enjoy. I have enjoyed a number of flavors. A few I did not care for. The place is adorable. Welcoming. Smells like if Heaven had an ice cream shop. It also has an Inciardi Mini Print machine and got me started on my latest obsession!

Off the town center you will find a great ice cream store with unique sounding names but amazing flavors with creative blends. Perfect place to complement a good dinner in town. Grab a quart to go if you want to enjoy later.
