Good stop to get ice cream and have a seat. It was a nice day with a relaxing atmosphere. This a a popular spot. On an average Tuesday, it seems that I beat the 7pm rush. I got there a 6:40pm to sit, converse and relax. It went from standing in line with 2 people ahead of me to a line out the door, down the deck steps, to the ground level back gate. Seemed like people were not bothered by the line to get this ice cream 🍨

We bought an ice cream birthday cake from Sweet Cow about a week and a half ago.  Then when we celebrated my younger son's birthday a few days later, we found out we were given the wrong flavor ice cream cake.  As he was disappointed we were given the wrong cake, I went back to Sweet Cow the next day and explained the situation.  And I have to say, they went out of their way to make this situation right. I was really impressed by how they handled this and I really appreciate their excellent customer service.  On a slightly different note.  A few weeks earlier, I had one of the best ice sundaes there, that I've had in years.  It was made with cookie dough ice cream, hot fudge, caramel, and pecans.  Really, really good!!!

Love the ice cream. Great to hire for events. Young staff are great and seem to be a true team helping each other out and making guests smile. Hate the kids running around & horseplay, I'm glad they're trying to improve the front yard area and reduce the chaos. Daria Foley I'm guessing your kids are part of the problem and I hope you never come back :)

We have been loyal customers of Lucky Pie and Sweet Cow for the past 1.5 years, ever since moving to Colorado. We first came here as a family of three, and now we visit as a family of four with our baby. We drive here from Lafayette. The management of both Lucky Pie Pizzeria and Sweet Cow Ice Cream should be ashamed (!) of the current condition of the faux-grass area in front of the businesses as of today, June 11, 2026. The space is not only littered with napkins and other trash, but it is also filled with construction debris, broken furniture like damaged umbrella bases. The “Mighty Burger” hut construction is particularly concerning and looks unsafe, with exposed wiring, construction materials, and furniture left scattered in disarray. The fenced “city garden” area looks more like an abandoned storage dump than a community feature, with shovels, coiled wire piled inside. This could be a beautiful focal point filled with flowers and greenery! In addition, the strip of trees and landscaping right in front of the restaurants, between the sidewalk and the street, desperately needs attention. At a minimum, the rocks should be redistributed to cover the exposed ground liner. An overwhelming majority of your customers are families with children. Our kids deserve better than a play area that feels neglected, unsafe, and frankly unpleasant to spend time in. The food and service remain great, but the outdoor environment no longer reflects the quality and community atmosphere that originally made this place so special.
