Visiting Delaware there are lots of food and ice cream choices (mainly fast food which I really try to stay away from as often as I can). I was craving ice cream on an early October evening. The storefront and inside was clean and organized. They had over 30 choices so I went with the cashiers recommendation because I was definitely overwhelmed! Her rec’ was on point. I ordered 1 scoop of oatmeal ice cream with caramel, chocolate and granola bits. It was divine and I’m still thinking about it! Glad I don’t live in Delaware because Sweet Lucy’s would be dangerous to my waistline 😆 Go here!

I was really excited to try this ice cream shop, but unfortunately, my visit was disappointing from start to finish. The person at the front didn’t know how to make a banana split, so I ended up having to explain all the ingredients and how it’s put together myself. That was frustrating because I was expecting staff to be familiar with the basics of their menu. I also ordered a milkshake, which turned out to taste more like chocolate milk and didn’t have the proper thickness or consistency you expect from a real milkshake. On top of that, the timing was extremely slow, I could see the employee struggling with each step, which made the wait even longer. While the shop has a nice atmosphere and the ice cream itself might be decent, the lack of training and slow, inconsistent service really took away from the experience. I hope they invest in better staff training, because as it stands, I wouldn’t recommend this place if you’re looking for a smooth, enjoyable ice cream experience.

love this place so cute and homey! recently had my daughter 9th birthday ice cream celebration here and the staff and owner Megan were awesome to work with. Very affordable. The kids had a great time. I was able to get in early and decorate and brought my own food and drinks. Most places don’t allow to do so anymore so I was thankful we could at Sweet Lucy’s! Highly recommend

It was so hard to choose! Every flavor I tasted was good. It's nice to have new flavors to try. I will go back to try a few more flavors before I leave town!
