Let me start by telling you this Candy store is a destination and a must whenever you are visiting Jacksonville, FL. "Feeling like a kid in a Candy store" is just an understatement! As you walk-in you will be greeted by the sweetest people in earth. They have a variety of delicious, and decadent sweet treats like chocolate covered popcorn, candy apples, taffy, rice crispy, numerous chocolate combinations and much more. They have a restaurant with delicious food and an ice cream parlor. The prices are reasonable. This place is so beautifully decorated, you will love the picture perfect opportunities. My family loves going to Sweet Pete's. If you decide to visit I highly recommend their "Sea Salt Caramels" take some home with you to enjoy and share. 🍫🍬🍭🍨🍡❤️

This place is beautiful. Unfortunately, it looks like they are slowly letting go. The workers were great but it was the small things I noticed. The ice cream shop was closed. (Now served in the dining area.) The bathroom was gross. The workers in the dining area seemed to short staffed as the wait was long and the food and drinks were subpar. Empty candy bins. Just needs some TLC. I'd say so much potential but they were there and are slowly just losing the luster. Still 4 stars and worth a trip.

I LOVED THE BUILDING, THE DECOR, THE CANDY, THE EATING VENUE, and THE HISTORY!!! The girl did a great job with the tour! It was fascinating. I guess I misinterpreted and I would have loved to have made my candy bar My Way....My Self... That would have been fun! That's why I gave it a 4, otherwise a 5. Loved my visit!
