The Story

The scent of griddled goodness and strong coffee always welcomed you into that buzzing retro parlor, a true slice of classic Americana. Their famous boozy milkshakes, each one a creamy, dreamy delight, tasted like happy memories in a tall glass. It was the kind of place where every booth promised comfort and every plate of breakfast, no matter the hour, felt just like home.

I came to Ted’s Bulletin absolutely starving after fasting since 5:00 PM the previous day, and it did not disappoint. A friend recommended it, and since I arrived during breakfast hours, I decided to try the original breakfast burrito. I got it with steak and double meat—it was fantastic and completely hit the spot. While the breakfast was stellar, I noticed their post-11:00 AM menu looks incredibly enticing; this place is clearly a top-tier spot regardless of the time of day. The service was great, the atmosphere was cool and comfortably quiet, and the scenery is highly aesthetic. If you're in the DC area and unsure where to go, this is definitely the spot. Kudos to them!

Food was really good here.... Had a Lobster roll with fried pickles, my daughter an appetizer only of deviled eggs, and my son had chicken and waffles.... I would definitely come back my lobster roll had BIG chunks of savory lobster with just the right amount of seasoning to not overtake the delicious lobster flavor.

Came here while visiting some family in DC and think it is fine for a big group but feels much more like a chain than a unique DC experience. The ambience is fun, but I bet it would be better for breakfast than it was for dinner, though the dinner was still strong, just not go out of your way for it. The burger was fine, but definitely didn’t prefer the bun. The fish tacos were OK, and the kids chicken fingers were slightly above average. The service was great, but the ambience felt a little dead relative to the space. It was fun to see them making pop tarts!

Saturday morning brunch STAPLE! Breakfast ALL DAY! Chicken and biscuits was really delicious as was the scramble! Famous for the pop tarts as well. We tried the blueberry cheesecake pop tart, which was super enjoyable! Quick service despite how busy the restaurant was. We had a great server who was waiting many tables but still checked in with us regularly. Tons of indoor tables, countertop, regular, and picnic table style. Recommend making a reservation because it gets busy.
