This is a good spot for ice cream. When you walk in you can just smell the goodness it’s fantastic. Plenty of flavor options. Soft serve too. The kids love it there. Sometimes Big lines so figure that in.

I am just wondering how come we didn't try this place before! Really good icecream, excellent flavor selection and best of all exceptionally service. Thank you to Arena for making our first visit a memorable one.

Many flavors to choose from which made my first time pretty difficult to order. We got the graham jam, rum and raisin, Grapenut and pistachio. The pistachio was my least favorite of the 4 but we went back to try other flavors which were also good. They make their own waffle cones which was not good to me but my spouse liked it. In my opinion it is super sweet and too thick. Plenty of parking around the store and seating areas outside as well to enjoy the weather. There is handicap parking and a ramp for entry. The interior is very nostalgic and original with the seating area and decor. There are a few grab and go fridges with prepackaged ice cream and ice cream sandwiches. The staff is super friendly and patient.

I placed an order for 1/2 gallon. They made it incorrectly. I told them don’t worry about it and I’ll take it as is but I would like the side of gram that I ordered with it. They called the owner he explained to them what it was and to provide it to me. They came upstairs with a cup full of molasses and told me that it will harden and turn into the gram. I explained to her that was not the case and I have purchased the side of gram multiple times. She had an attitude and it kept getting worse I waited almost 40 minutes on top of it for a side that’s pre made. The upsetting part was Alaina I believe was her name said to the other girl when they where walking down the stairs we should spit in it. I personally come here almost everyday and spend a lot of money at both locations. I take my employees to the new location right near my shop and the owner is a great guy. I can not eat something after hearing that. So I basically just wasted $20. When she came upstairs she very rudely aggressively put it on the counter and walked away with a big attitude. I will be placing a complaint with department of consumer protection even though it takes a bit of time it needs to be done, public health dept and state of ct health dept and possibly local law enforcement. Hopefully they have cameras in the staircase. The girl with the new zeland hat was great and very helpful. The other two teenagers where rude very very rude. I get it they want to get out it’s late but I don’t deserve to be treated that way and to have my food possible spit in.
