The Fountain on Locust filled a 1916 auto showroom with murals, mahogany and a menu of ice cream martinis — a boozy wink at Prohibition, when soda fountains took over the bar trade. The non-alcoholic sundaes are just as good.

I really wanted to give The Foundry on Locust a full 5 stars because the food and the atmosphere are absolutely top-tier. While we had a small issue with one of our sandwiches, the overall experience was still very good and well worth the visit! The building itself is stunning—they’ve done an incredible job with the industrial-chic decor. More importantly, the food was delicious. Every bite was full of flavor, and you can tell the kitchen takes real pride in what they send out. Whatever you do, save room for dessert! It was the absolute highlight of the meal and truly "outstanding." It’s worth the trip just for the sweet finish alone. We did have one sandwich get messed up, and we were still charged for it on the final bill, which was a bit of a bummer. However, because the rest of the meal was so high-quality, it didn't ruin the night. A little more attention to service recovery would make this place a perfect 10/10! 4 stars! A beautiful spot with some of the best flavors in town. I’ll definitely be back (especially for that dessert).

Nice place to get a decent meal. Famous for their soups and icecreams. We got there midweek at around 7 pm. Easy to get a table and the server was super nice. Very affordable pricing on dinners. Get the soup-trio if you want to try all of their soup options.

I just love coming here! They all are so friendly. Treat you so respectfully. Just feel so welcome EVERY SINGLE TIME we come here.It's a place the family would enjoy the atmosphere and the food. Speaking of the food from the drinks to the food to the ice cream. Everything taste like its made from love.
