  While walking through the Portland area, our family stopped in Gelato Fiasco Portland. My family enjoyed sampling the many flavors, and the staff was quite patient with everyone asking for samples. Gelato Fiasco Portland had many flavors to choose from, making it difficult to decide what to order. The prices were a bit higher than at other places we had been in the area. Once outside, finishing the order, you realize how large the servings are. We liked the atmosphere of the shop and the small dining area outside the store. It was very busy and a small wait, but the staff managed the pace effectively. All our flavors were excellent, and we would recommend giving Gelato Fiasco Portland a try.

  YUMMMMM!!! It is hard to describe how much I loved this gelato. The employees were friendly and helpful, and so nice to offer samples when I had questions on the flavors (the samples were given with metal spoons… so nice not to use single use plastic for that). I ordered the large size cup and the portion was generous for the price. I had three different flavors in my cup and all of them had a nice amount of toppings mixed in… this is a nice way to have the gelato as many gelato shops only have the toppings laying on top so you don’t end up with many in your serving. I have visited Italy and have had many gelatos over the years, but this is hands down the best I have had! My favorite flavor was ‘A Big ‘Ole Peanut Butter Pint’... a week and a half later and I am still thinking about this flavor!! Also, we were with someone with a dog and there was no outdoor seating. We asked the employees if we could grab chairs from the restaurant and bring them outside and they had no problem letting us do that (it helped that we visited at a time where they weren’t too busy).

  Wow the maine blueberry crisp is amazing. Delicious, crunchy crisp, incredible blueberries, just so yum. Had a bite of the double caramel and cookies and the Italian banana pudding and that was also incredible. Will have to be back to try more!!! So nice that you can do multiple flavors in any size and try as many samples as you want! A wonderful experience all around and a nice outdoor seating area to boot!

  This gelato was absolutely incredible. I tried the mascarpone pistachio caramel, the Italian banana pudding, and the Netflix & Chill flavor — each one was equally delicious, smooth, flavorful, and just a joy to eat. You have to try this place. And the cherry on top was Jane. She was so kind, patient, and genuinely sweet. She gave me all the samples I needed to feel completely fulfilled, and her energy made the whole experience even better. I love this place and I can’t wait to come back.
