The Story
Named for the soda jerks who once ran every drugstore counter in America, The Jerks rebuilt the tradition inside a restored 19th-century storefront. Guests sit at a proper counter while sodas are mixed to order — syrup, cream, and carbonation pulled the old way.

We stopped by after seeing The Jerks on social media. The building itself is old timey and unique, the downside is it is small. This is a true soda counter and there are no tables, only stools at the counter. (15-20 stools) The menu is extensive and the people working there are all super helpful and friendly, truly the service you get makes the experience great. We got a custom chocolate Oreo milkshake, a banana split, and coffee. The coffee was brewed to order quickly and the milkshake and banana split were prepared quickly. The experience was overall great. Do note that if you go during a popular time, you will likely have to wait since the seats are limited. Worth the wait for sure.

Amazing food, atmosphere, and service in a beautiful little downtown. Worth the drive from Atlanta as there is plenty to do in Cartersville if you know how to use Google. We will DEFINITELY come back to eat next time we are in GA. Also if you are a Marvel fan Google the filming locations in town including one right outside the restaurant where we parked

My boyfriend lives here in Cartersville and I live in south florida. When I come to visit him, I ALWAYS make him take me to Jerks of Cartersville. I LOVE their handcrafted sodas, especially their shirley temple, and their phenomenal deviled eggs. The atmosphere is soo cute and they have really cool candy. Fun place to visit for couples and families.
