Our beautiful gals brought back some ice cream from Local Scoop, and it was amazing! They've done a great job of carrying a very tasty selection of good brands of ice cream. A definite must while in Newport!

OMG!!! The BEST ice cream ever! I had the Spumoni- it’s very hard to find good spumoni anywhere, and this was excellent! So perfectly creamy and rich too. My friend had the lemon bar which was totally amazing too! How do they do it. I wish we had this in Colorado (but kinda glad we don’t because I wouldn’t be able to resist it!)!

My fiance and I came here today with our kiddos. They got chocolate cones and we got espresso madness and toffee nut. They were good, yet we were hoping for homemade. This ice cream shop is super clean and offers chalk to draw in the counter with and color changing spoons.

Great little spot! Kid behind the counter was very polite and working super hard by himself! A+++ highly recommended!
