  I have been living in Fort worth for over 20 years now, I have passed by the malt shop numerous times but just never stopped. Not because it didnt look good but because they are always busy! And that is a very good thing honestly, so today I was out running errands and decided to stop and try the food. The wait is about 20 minutes once you order it but only because all of your food is made fresh. So we sit and we wait and finally we get called , I take my first bite of my cheese burger with everything on it and it is a solid 10 out of 10 , my son's got the grilled cheese sandwich and the corn dog bites , they were very good , I rate the grilled cheese a 9 out of 10 and the corn dog bites a 7 out of 10 just because every corn dog taste the same. The fries were very crunchy and had a very good seasoning on them, I would rate those a 9 out of 10, the atmosphere took you back in time , we did sit on the benches they have outside, my one and only complaint would be maybe change to some heavy cast iron tables with chairs? It was kinda hard to get up and out of the benches. But other than that, the food was exceptional, a must try, the customer service was excellent,the atmosphere was excellent and the prices for what you are getting are actually really good! It was 5 of us on this day and for all 5 meals it was 45$ not bad at all. I give this place 🌟 🌟🌟🌟 I am really glad I stopped by finally after all these years , oh and they do have a order and pickup option as well, I will definitely be back to visit the malt shop very soon. We'll, we came back after only 4 days , this food is so good you can stop going to those fast food joints , today we got three cheese burgers , grilled cheese , steak fingers, with fries of course and some of the best jalapeño poppers I have ever had in my life!!!! All of the food is a solid 10 outta 10 , a must try! I will say that the food today did taste a little different and i had seen another review about the food tasting like they had all been cooked in the same grease. Today the burger was very greasy and everything did taste like the food was cooked in the same grease but the oil had that day before grease taste, so now I have two complaints, malt shop let's make sure we are making food fresh and with new oils ok, because we the customers can notice it .

  Purely judging as a hamburger it was average and about average for portions for $14. The patty on the burger was a good size. It is on plain white bun. It's all about the ice cream though and that is fantastic. They also are the only place I've found in a long time with butterscotch flavor. Malt an an addon makes it $18+

  Stopped here on our way through town - super cute malt shop! They were sold out of nearly all homemade flavors, but I got an Oreo shake and my stepson got a strawberry shake and both were really really good! Great consistency and flavor. Lots of Oreos 😊 My fiance got the fried pickles and wasn't a fan. Prices are really great. I'd definitely stop here again!

  OK, so I like to try and support small businesses and try out their food or whatever it is. Anyways, I’m giving this a one star because of the portion/price ratio and customer service. I ordered a hamburger combo all the way with mayonnaise and cheese with tater tots and sweet tea. I received a hamburger with lettuce and mayonnaise only and 10 tater tots. I paid $15 for this meal to receive my order with no onions, cheese, tomato, and the hamburger wasn’t even wrapped so the grease doesn’t drip all over the place and they could’ve put a little bit more tater tots in the box. Also the hamburger patties were dry and overcooked.
