The Story
Built in the 1930s as roadside advertising you couldn't miss, the Milk Bottle still anchors the Garland District with shakes, sundaes and a diner counter under its famous silhouette.

Showed up with a party if 6 at about 1130 on a random Thursday. Small parking lot full but plenty of street parking near. Two working the small space and it was moderately busy. Service was ok until about noon when help arrived and then it was great. They were really nice e and trying hard just misjudged the lunch rush it seemed like. Classic burger/shake/fries kinda experience. Hand cut fries were perfect. Needed salt, but we're excellent otherwise. Burgers were excellent. Wife is a bacon snob and it was excellent. Buns stole the show though. Kinda like a soft bolo? Seems custom. Was excellent, see photo. Do take CC. Didn't in the past... Go

Their shakes are thick, creamy, and delicious. It’s definitely made with good quality ice cream. Highly recommend their shakes!! Other than their shake, the burger was okay but I’m not a big fan of the buns they used. The fries were a bit soggy and the broccoli cheddar soup lacked flavor and tasted artificial.

Very nice place. Reminds us of the old days 1960's and 1970's atmosphere. All the staff is very friendly and nice. We highly recommend everyone to come here.
