Since finding this gem of a place, it's usually our go-to now for ice cream/treats. Their hot dogs are so good - you don't even need condiments! The sundaes are delicious (especially with hot fudge and strawberries! Which are always sooo good & fresh) Stop in and give it a try!

My family has been coming here for custard for about 15 years. Custard is so much better than ice cream but that's a different topic. This custard is consistently so good, the concretes and anything else for that matter are exceptional. We had a little b-day thing outside, just 5 of use but while sitting at the tables they actually came out to ask us if they could take our order, normally you go thru the line, so this was above and beyond for customer service. Yes, they only take cash but just know ahead of time and it's all good.

Locally owned and operated businesses are less common than they were years ago. ScoopDog is one of the few remaining. They offer that local feel with some of the best Hot Dogs and Ice Cream treats anywhere! Be sure to bring cash or a check book, because they aren't taking credit/debit cards and the fees associated with that racket! This is my family's choice for ice cream treats right here in the neighborhood!

I have eaten here multiple times and it’s always delicious. I have only ever gotten the frozen custard so I can’t say much for the other things they offer. During the warmer months they get very busy and you don’t get much time to look at the menu. Other than the lack of time to look at the menu it’s an amazing spot for ice cream.
