I live in Joliet for 20 years my first time wanting to try this popular ice cream shop. I hear so much about why my whole experience such an attitude? Like why? Ugh We live in a time where customer service is dying these days What's wrong with old-fashioned Hospitality. Sucks I really wanted to give this place a chance! 😩

We have always loved Walts! Even if there is a line, people are just genuinely in a good mood and friendly behind the counter and even in line. It just has that type of atmosphere which is so rare. Everything we have ever tried off the menu has been delicious and their soft serve is the best around. Thank you for offering a low stress, super adorable, and family friendly way to meet the Easter bunny as well!

Great variety of flavors. Reasonable prices! Their soft serve ice cream is very rich in flavor. They take all type of payments. Customer service was friendly and welcoming. Outdoor sitting area by the parking lot.

Graduated from JCHS many years ago... haven't had a Walt's Turtle for maybe(?) 40 years... Still great especially with extra pecans!
