Had such a fun experience at the Pirate Candy Shop in Tampa Bay! I asked Anna to help me put together a bag of candy for my stepdad and told her to pick the top flavors—and she absolutely delivered. She was super friendly, knowledgeable, and made the whole process easy and enjoyable. You can tell she really knows the products and cares about making sure customers leave happy. The selection in the store is amazing too. Definitely recommend stopping by, and if you can, ask for Anna!

Amazing experience! The sweets taste fresh, natural, and made with high-quality ingredients. Everything feels homemade and carefully crafted. The staff was also friendly, attentive, and welcoming. Great atmosphere and definitely a place I would recommend and visit again!

Very disappointed. My sister and I came here after seeing a tiktok highlighting the selection and taste of the candy. There’s a good assortment of candy, the signs were incredibly small and hard to read. Some of the signs had fallen off. Wish they told you more about the candy. It was kinda just like a color and what the shape of the candy was and if it was sweet or sour. Which not a big deal. We got to the register and for two bags of candy that were less than a pound each, it was over $50! I was SHOCKED. This had better be the best damn candy I’ve ever had for more than $50. Then they asked for a tip! The workers just sat behind the register and weighed the overpriced candy and they want a tip. We go to try this candy and 95% of it was hard as a rock. Absolutely unable to chew it and it’s all gummy candy. About 40% had no flavor or an awful taste but I know that’s just opinion. It was not at ALL worth the $50+. TLDR: overpriced candy for mid flavors and stale tasting.

I stopped in because I was craving something sweet and ended up leaving with a big bag of gummies. They had so many different candies to choose from that it honestly took me a while to decide. I also tried some Swedish candies for the first time, and I totally get why people talk about them now. They had a different texture and flavor than what I'm used to, and they were seriously amazing. Another thing I liked was that some of the candies were freshly made, which made everything taste even better. The owners were really kind and welcoming, and they were happy to answer a few questions while I was deciding what to get. Overall it was just a fun place to visit, and I'll definitely be back to try more of the candies I didn't have room for this time.
