This is a great spot to stop in to cool off and have a drink and snack while you're out strolling through Floyd. The staff have always been cheerful and friendly. The ice cream is great, especially in the house-made waffle cones/bowls.

While we were walking around Floyd we kept seeing people with these amazing drinks, ice cream cones and shakes. After several hours of shopping and walking we wanted something refreshing. We knew exactly where to go, The Sofa Fountain. I devoured my Buffalo Gal with whipped cream, basically a root beer float. My nephew has an IPA Red, which he enjoyed. My sister decided to order something that was not on the menu. She ordered a cola with cherry syrup. She absolutely loved it. This is well worth a visit.

I went there today like a few hours ago and the person behind the desk was so enthusiastic and sweet. Me and my friend are like teenagers so we’re always super nervous but we always feel so comfortable and happy there:) the drinks and stuff are awesome too!! I loveeee the mocha malt , I always get it

Great ice cream but horrible atmosphere. The person working there today allowed people to be so loud i couldn't hear the person right in front of me talking. And the worst part was she was part of the chaos. If I were to go again, I will not eat inside ever again.
