The Story

Ballinger's fountain is the whole downtown social calendar: burgers at noon, malts after school, and everyone's truck parked out front on Hutchings Avenue.

    We were finally able to try this place on our way to Lubbock on a weekday. They aren’t open on the weekends. Well worth the stop. The building is very historic and provides a great atmosphere. Our waitress was extremely nice and helpful. Just like you would expect. The menu is pretty large but she mentioned the 1/2 lb burgers were hand formed and flame grilled. We all opted for that. They were delicious! Nice crust on the burger and seasoned. Definitely will stop again if we drive thru on a weekday.

    Cute historical building. Food was very slow coming out. Burger was good. Fries and chicken strips were way evercooked. Diet Coke blend was very weak and flat.

    Great place if you’re in town or passing by as I was. Found this little Gem of a place sometime back. I’m constantly passing through town and I stop here as much as I can. Service is always great and the sandwiches, let’s just say definitely hit the spot. Delicious! I HIGHLY RECOMMEND STOPPING BY! 🥤🍔
