The Story

Step back in time at this charming ice cream parlor, a local institution since 1946 where lines often spill out the door on hot summer nights. Known for their incredibly generous portions, a 'small' is often enough for two! Grab a cone or a sundae, but be prepared—there are no restrooms, just classic, creamy deliciousness.

Delicious ice cream at a fair price. Size small at $7 was big enough for two nights.

Classic ice cream shop that has been around for decades. The owners are well ingrained into the community and make their own ice cream. The staff is friendly and provide quick services. There are hot summer nights where the line goes out the back of the building. If interested, you can buy coupon books.

A charming local venue for delicious ice cream and other sweet treats. We stopped in and had a small ice cream cone each. Their small is a very generous portion, unless you are really hungry, I'd advise the kiddy size. There are no restrooms available, but there are picnic tables. Parking lot is limited but there is street parking in the area. Prices were very reasonable for the generous portions and the ice cream is delicious.

The by far best ice cream ever! The portions are not small! We ended up taking the ice cream back to the hotel and eating it the next day. I absolutely love coming here when we visit Salem. TRY IT! You will not be disappointed!
